[Sponsored Post]: My review of SupportPay – A Revolutionary Approach to the Way Families Share Child Expenses.
I received a demo from the President of SupportPay. She asked me to check it out for my honest feedback. Right away my professional experience tells me that any time you can keep records ready in an instant to provide to the other parent without the necessity of having to engage the other parent in conversation at all, it is a good thing.
Child support payments and the thought about receiving them and paying them is such a contentious subject between many ex’s that there just has to be a better way of doing this, so that we all don’t end up with knots in our stomachs, right?
Well, there is.
SupportPay is an online system that allows parents to enter expenses to be paid; diving up each parties share based on the court order or voluntary agreement and tracks them to the execution of payment, reimbursement or duns them when payment hasn’t been made. You check in online when you are ready and not when the phone rings for you or when you do something personal such as open your email. You decide and you choose when you want to check online. I am all for keeping the crazies at your door in check and this system works perfectly for that.
- Monthly stats at a glance show what you owe, what you are owed, disputes, total expenses, total paid and total received.
- Month to month expenses shows what each parent has contributed to the financial support of the child on a monthly basis.
- Year to date expenses broken down by category, including medical and out-of-pocket medical.
- Recent activity details dates, times and expenses.
- Email history allows you to email the other parent within the system and capture all of the communication. It keeps things real. It keeps things honest. It keeps the abusers in check.
My verdict is that I love Support Pay. I gave the demo to two of my clients to check out for themselves and they loved it too. Even my husband loved it and commented that he wished that he had access to it when he was paying child support to his ex. Support Pay is a great tool and it’s a smart thing to use.
Wishing you well,
